Diabetes has become a highly prevalent chronic disease worldwide, with the affected population continuing to grow. Traditional fingerstick blood sampling presents numerous challenges, including invasive pain, limited testing frequency, and difficulty in continuously capturing blood glucose fluctuations. Electrochemical sensing technology is the core underlying technology for continuous glucose monitoring. Through enzyme-catalyzed electrochemical reactions, it accurately converts glucose concentration into detectable electrical signals, enabling round-the-clock real-time tracking of blood glucose dynamics. It is widely applicable to home-based chronic disease management, clinical diagnostic intervention, and metabolic health monitoring for the general population, helping to advance glucose management toward minimally invasive, continuous, and intelligent solutions.
